Lynda Weatherhead is the force behind LJW Recruitment.  Having lived, and worked in the UK, Switzerland, USA and Australia, she has three decades of global experience in luxury, publishing, retail and property management, hospitality and niche recruitment areas. A sought after recruiter, Lynda has a wealth of knowledge in dealing with private clients and lifestyles, from a variety of countries and cultures.

 

As a partner of The AgenC International Recruitment, Lynda forged new standards. Here she spent 3 years learning the art of household management and commercial recruitment. She identified the need for a specialist in-depth and personal approach to private clients, as well as companies that had been previously under-served. Lynda then founded LJW Recruitment in 2006.

 

Previously, Lynda spearheaded Global Business Development and was head of Quintessentially America; the worlds leading luxury private members’ club with an international 24 hour concierge service. She was also instrumental in the development of the concierge service and launch of cell phone, ‘Vertu’. Prior, she was MD and Editor for Europe & USA at Cadogan Publications, heading the development of leading 'luxury lifestyle' publishing and media TV concepts. She also reported on Europe and USA Hotel & Restaurant news and trends for Hospitality Ireland magazine (awarded Business to Business Specialist magazine of the Year).

 

Other organisations Lynda stems her career and experience from are internationals, such as property consultancy Knight Frank; Hotel Group, Southern Pacific Hotels; Retail management and fashion: Como Centre, Country Road and Esprit; Media and publishing: Brand Intelligence, Checkout Publications, Yellow Pages and Telstra.

 

Lynda’s expertise, philosophy and global outlook are the driving force behind a boutique agency that brings exacting private and corporate clients together with quality candidates. Lynda is well known for enabling successful business relationships and an unrivalled quality of service. She believes in working in long-term partnerships with all parties.
